Out on the Farm

Contact a local farmer and see if you can set up a tour with your family on their grounds. Explore the barns, crops, and grazing animals and discuss the processes by which we get much of the food that ends up on on our table. This will help set up a way of thinking that will support local farming and local businesses that will ultimately benefit the community.
