One, Two, Buckle My Shoe

Remember the nursery rhyme “One, two, buckle my shoe?” Gather some objects you can group together in ones, twos, threes, and so on, and indicate them as you recite the rhyme together. One (point to the “one” pencil), two (point to the two erasers), buckle my shoe; three (indicate three buttons), four (here you have four blocks), lock the door!
