Nothing Defeats a GPA Like Pressing Physical Needs
Summer vacation is a time for rest and play, but it's also the optimal time to work on developing solid year-round routines. A rumbling tummy can take the focus off of schoolwork within a few minutes. If your kid is going to bed at 11:00 p.m., but has to get up for school by 6:30 a.m., she’s missing up to two hours of necessary sleep a night. If you want your kids at their best in school, give them an optimal start: a healthy breakfast and the recommended hours of sleep per night. Practice these habits during the summer months to make the transition to the school year a breeze!
