My Father’s Dragon by Ruth Gannett Stiles, is as fun and charming a read today as it was when it was released in 1948. In this first of a trilogy series, readers join in the adventures of Elmer Elevator, a young boy who stows away on a ship and heads to Wild Island to save a flying baby dragon. This wonderful story also makes a great bedtime read.
