Let your child see that you're learning new things, too. Take a class, either online or in-person at a local school or community center. Let your child see you reading or studying, as well. If possible, ask your child to help you study by occasionally quizzing you on the material you're learning. Your excitement for learning new information will be infectious. Plus, it will help your child to recognize from an early age that learning is a lifelong task.
