Mirror Dancing

Sit or stand in front of a mirror with your child. Start dancing in place, at first just using your eyebrows and eyes, mouth, etc. Then nod and shake your head, raise your shoulders, wave your arms. This activity can help show your child how her body moves, as well as teach cooperative play as you copy each other’s movements.
