Mess-Free Painting

Try this self-contained painting project. Take a gallon-size Ziploc bag, slide in a piece of sturdy paper. Cut up a moist, clean sponge into a few pieces. Press each piece into different color tempera paints, slip those into the bag, and zip it closed. Place it on the table and let your toddler squish down on the sponges and watch a painting form inside.
