Memorize a Poem Together

Choose a favorite poem and memorize it with your child. Decide whether to perform the poem in tandem, memorize alternating verses, or memorize half of the poem and then recite it together. Show your child how to memorize her sections by repeating them to herself or performing them in front of a mirror. When you're both ready, perform the poem for your entire family.
