Mean Green Recycling Machine

Make a game out of recycling for your tweens and give them a bonus point every time they realize a product they are throwing away can be recycled. After each meal, have them help you clean up and throw things away, making sure they’re following all the proper recycling guidelines. Take this activity to the next level and have them make a colorful poster stating recycling rules. The more bonus points they have at the end of their cleanup session, the more rewards (screen time, allowance, etc.)!
