Match Socks by Color

Get your preschooler to help organize his own socks, and sneak in a little color- or pattern-matching lesson in the process. After you’ve washed his child’s socks, dump them all in a pile and have him separate them by color, pattern, and/or style. A drawer or bin that’s accessible to him helps him get the hang of this organizing task, too.
