Have your children write each vocabulary word neatly on the front of the card. On the back, split the card into quadrants. The upper left is for the definition in their own words – that's a must! The upper right is for the part of speech. The bottom left is for a unique sentence using the word. The bottom right is for a picture associated with the word.
