Making a Triangle

Use a wire coat hanger as a marching-band triangle. Tie a piece of yarn or string in a loop to the hook of the hanger, then bend the hook down and twist it closed (wrap packing tape around it if you think the edges are sharp). The yarn is the triangle’s handle. Your child can march with his triangle and a metal spoon to make the sound.
