Making a Sound Recording

Using a digital recorder, go around the house and record a variety of sounds, such as pouring milk into a cup or a clock ticking. Later, play the recording for your child and see if she can listen closely enough to identify the sounds. Next, try and record a variety of songs and see if your child can name them, too!
