Making Picture Cards

Cut simple pictures of objects, toys, foods, and other easily recognizable things from magazines, or from your stash of extra photos. Glue the photos onto index cards. Then you can set up a memory-stimulating picture card game. Turn the cards face down on the table or the floor, and have your child turn them over one by one and name what’s in the picture.
