Making a Magic Bug Door

Help your little one find critters by making a magic bug door. Find a piece of wood and put it out on the grass for a day or so. Then, with your child, return to the site and carefully “open” your door by lifting it up and looking underneath. Chances are it’ll already have become home to all kinds of crawlers, since bugs gravitate to moist, dark places.
