Make Time to Read Every Day

Reading for pleasure is one of the most powerful ways to strengthen your child's reading skills. Build some reading time into each day by reading together or encouraging your child to read independently, and keeping books and magazines in the car for on-the-go entertainment. Make sure that your child sees you choosing to read as a leisure activity, too.
