Make Time to Exercise as a Family
Ideally, your 8- to- 10-year-old should get at least one hour of exercise a day. But far too many kids get less than that, and some actually get no exercise at all. Model good exercise habits for your kids by working out together. Do something fun like playing soccer, going for a hike, or enjoying a bike ride. And remember, the exercise doesn't have to be difficult to be good for you! In fact, the more you make it feel like fun, the more you – and your kids – will choose to do it.
