Make a Texture Book

Create a book of textures for your baby to feel and explore. Take a spiral-bound sketch book (available at art supply stores). Gather up items with various textures -- like a knitted or crocheted square, a piece of denim, a square of smooth silk -- bubble wrap, a piece of sand paper -- and glue them to the sheets of the sketch book. Don’t forget to label each texture for an added learning benefit!
