Make Sure Your Child Gets Enough Sleep at Night

Between the ages of 8 and 10, children need 10 to 12 hours of sleep per night. If your child gets up at 7 a.m., she should go to sleep no later than 9 p.m. and her bedtime should be closer to 8 p.m. so she has time to unwind before falling asleep. You can help her fall asleep faster by making sure that her bedtime is consistent.
