Make Rain Sticks

Save a few paper towel rolls and use them to make rain sticks. Close one end of the tube with duct tape and then help your child carefully press about 20 nails into the tube from the outside. Fill the tube with dried beans of various sizes. Close the other end of the tube with tape, and give it a shake.
