Make a Paper Tree

Cut two two-inch downward slits opposite each other at the top of a cardboard tube. Cut a paper plate in half. Have your child color and decorate the half-plate to look like a tree -- get creative! Add birds, squirrels, fruit, etc. When she's done, slide the half-plate flat-side-down into the slits on the tube. Ta-da! You have a tree!
