Make Organizing the Playroom an Activity

It’s a rare two-year-old who’ll spontaneously return all the books to the shelf, the blocks to their bin, or the dolls to her bed. Instead of asking her to clean up, turn it into a game to teach organization. For dolls and stuffed toys, for example, ask her to walk, hop, or jump each “friend” to its place, while you make up voices for them.
