Make Connections With the Staff at Your Child's School

Personally introduce yourself to various staff members at your child's school, including the principal, school secretary, nurse, and librarian. You never know who might be able to help you with a particular issue, or direct you toward specific resources for your child. Knowing that you've opened up a line of communication with several professionals in the building will enhance your child's sense of community, as well.
