Make Apple Shapes

Got apples and cookie cutters? Then, you have a fun way to help your child learn about and practice shape recognition, and eat a healthy snack at the same time, too. Wash and peel apples, and cut them into very thin slices. Give your child cookie cutters, let him cut shapes out of the slices, and eat up all the heart-shapes, or the diamond-shapes.
