Look for Synonyms to Figure Out Tough Vocabulary

Synonyms are similar words hidden in the sentence that rename a word that may not be well-known. For example: "The coach praised the teams' camaraderie or friendship as they walked off the field." The tricky word, camaraderie had a synonym context clue, friendship, which made the sentence much easier to understand.
