Look for Antonyms to Figure Out Tough Vocabulary
Antonyms are "opposite words." For example: "Your fraudulence made me angry; had you been honest, I wouldn't have snapped." In this example, the word, "fraudulence" has the antonym context clue "honest," which can help make the sentence -- and the word definitions -- much easier to understand for your child.
