Toddlers love copying what you do. Bear in mind that when you child picks up a hairbrush, talks on a cell phone, or walks around swinging car keys, she is practicing grown-up activities. Help your child learn by providing child-friendly versions of your stuff, such as a toy lawn mower, a plastic trowel so she can help weed the garden, or plastic keys.
