Listen for Music Everywhere You Go

From the birds in your backyard, to the sounds of traffic, musical notes are all around us. Similarly, when you hear everyday sounds in musical compositions, point them out. For example, George Gershwin's An American in Paris includes traffic sounds. Listen to it with your child and see if he can identify the specific sounds that are included.
