Let Your Child Be the Teacher

Does your child have a math test or quiz coming up? Instead of quizzing her in the traditional sense, let her test your proficiency of the skills she's learning. Tell her to pretend that she's the teacher and create a set of test or quiz questions. Then, do your best to answer them. The process of writing questions and checking your answers will test her skills in a different way and help her retain the information. When you're done, congratulate her on being a successful student and teacher!
