Leaving Work at Work, and Home at Home

A great time-management tip that efficient working mothers know instinctively is that when you are at work, your head should be there; and while you’re at home, that’s where you are fully present. If you have a job that requires some after-hours work, such as grading papers if you’re a teacher, try to schedule that for after the baby’s asleep. If you work from home, make sure there is an end to your day, and close the office door (or just shut down the computer!) when it’s time to “leave.”
