Learning to Think Mathematically

If you pay attention, math is sprinkled in throughout your child’s day. Notice how math is intertwined into your child’s favorite stories. Talk about it when making meals. Discuss numbers during play. Count, do puzzles, sort, classify, set up a pretend store. Familiarizing your child with math will encourage him to develop problem-solving and reasoning skills.
