Learn About Airplanes – Firsthand!

Take a trip to a nearby airport to watch planes arrive and depart. Smaller, regional airports are best. Bring along his favorite books about airplanes (ask your librarian for ideas), and see if he can identify parts of the plane, markings, engines, or the wheels that tuck in. Talk about how planes lift off from the earth and stay in the air!
