Language Skills at 6 Months

While babies develop at different paces, there are some language skills you can expect to see at the 6-month mark. Your child may use intonation, which means modulating her babbles like regular speech. She should respond to her own name. She should also respond to a human voice, even if she can’t see the person, by turning her head and eyes.
