Label Books With Your Child's Name

Make a point of writing your child’s name in the books that are hers to keep, in simple block letters. In part, this helps her begin to recognize the symbols that she’ll eventually learn as the unique sequence of letters that make up her name. And it’ll make her “library” feel that much more special and precious, something to build and save.
