Keeping Some Experiences Constant

Babies process new information most efficiently when they are in familiar surroundings. So what’s best: showing her new stuff all the time or keeping things more or less the same? Both! Babies do seem to like routine--say, taking a walk at the same time most days. Keep to that routine, but build in variations on that theme, like taking a different route and pointing out new things as you go.
