Jar Lid Lineup

On a big piece of cardboard on the floor, put down a long strip of painter’s tape, sticky side up. Give your child a collection of clean lids from small and large bottles. Have your child stick down his items along the tape. During this activity he will learn interesting things about the properties of sticky stuff, about patterns, about coordination, and about cause and effect.
