It's a Vocabulary Explosion!

As your child reaches four years old, his communication becomes more sophisticated. Your child can likely express his emotions and questions well. Still, you may see your child using something he’s invented that easily gets the meaning across. Let’s say he forgets the word “stove top.” He might call it the “stove’s roof.”
