Is It Alive?

Helping your child understand the difference between living and non-living parts of nature is a great learning opportunity. Next time you’re outdoors, gather some natural items and have a conversation about them. Use objects like a plant, stones, shells, and even a bug or two. Ask, does it breathe air? Does it grow bigger over time? Does it eat?
