Introduce Your Kids to Shredderman
Nolan Byrd is tired of being bullied by the unpredictable and impulsive Alvin Bixby, a.k.a. Bubba. So when a school assignment involves doing a report, Nolan decides to write an expose on the class bully – using the pen name Shredderman. Secret Identity is the first book in the Shredderman series, written by Wendelin Van Draanen. As you read the story, talk about Nolan's decision to post the report on the Internet, and use the book to talk about positive and negative choices – particularly as they relate to the Internet and social media.
