Interpreting Gestures

Even though your preschooler is developing her verbal language at a breathtaking rate, be aware that she’s still relying pretty heavily on body language as a form of communication. She’ll be paying close attention to your facial expressions, tone of voice, and gestures to figure out what you mean, along with what you say.
