I'm With the Band!

Your toddler loves banging on his bongos, shaking his maracas, or plunking on his piano keys. It’s not just about making sounds and music. Playing with musical instruments develops motor skills, helps with coordination, and hones his ability to pick out different tones. There’s also cause and effect: When I shake this maraca, it makes that cool, shaky sound.
