Hunt for Treasure

To help your child use language clues, hide something she likes such as a favorite toy, and then give her clues on where to find it. For example: “What’s under the cushion on the red chair?” Start with simple clues, then gradually add multiple steps, such as “You’ll find your surprise behind the kitchen door, in a green box.”
