Hide and Seek, Peek and Boo

Playing peek-a-boo is not just delightful for your baby, it also helps her understand object permanence, and develops her sense of humor and connection to you. Since you’ll be playing a lot of peek-a-boo, try some variations on the theme. Try calling your baby’s name to get her attention before you pop out. Call from a nearby room. Cover your head with a blanket or towel. Peek out from the side of your baby's bed after naptime.
