Help Your Child Organize Her Shoes at the Front Door

When shoes pile up by the front door, teach your kids to put their shoes in one consistent spot. Gather shoes in a basket by the front door or on a low shelf in the hall closet. Make sure shoes that are worn infrequently are stored in each child's bedroom. Don't forget to practice what you preach and putt your shoes where they belong!
