Help Your Baby "Learn" to Count
Studies have shown that before their first birthday, babies “get” basic counting concepts, gazing longer at a picture of three dots when they hear three drumbeats. Show your child three blocks and say “three,” or just point out that he has two rubber duckies in his bath, or four crackers left on his highchair tray.
