Help Him Understand Object Permanence

Object permanence — gaining the understanding that things you can no longer see do still exist — is a basic building block for grasping mathematical concepts later on. Take a few large cups or bowls and hide small toys underneath. Have your baby (older than a year is best) pick which one to turn over to find the surprise.
