Learning math skills is always more fun when you make a game of it. All you need to start is a simple tape measure. Point out to your child what is a full inch, half inch, and foot. Help her measure herself and mark the height on the refrigerator with a piece of tape. Then ask her to go around the house and find three things that are near her height.
