Great Reads About Autism

In 2014, the CDC reported an estimate that one in 68 children has an autism spectrum disorder. With such a statistic, it's no surprise that autism awareness needs to reach beyond parents raising children with autism. For Autism Awareness Month, check out these great reads about autism. If nothing else, these books will help you understand autism further. Take a look at The Autism Acceptance Book: Being a Friend to Someone With Autism, a book that will give you a sense of being a friend to someone with autism, even if autism doesn't directly impact your family.
