Google Helps Set the Stage for Novels
Learning about the books your kids read prior to them delving in may help them find context for the novel. Encourage your children to do a Google search to learn more about a novel’s setting or historical context before they read the book. Finding out a few facts before getting into a book can also help reluctant readers who might be put off by an unfamiliar setting.
