"Giraffes Can't Dance"

Rhyme is an important building block in developing kids' language skills. Your baby won't connect sounds with letters yet, but listening to rhymes, and getting accustomed to familiar sounds the "at" sound that appears in both "cat" and "hat," is an important part of the language development process. Looking for a good book to teach your 3- to 5- year-old child about rhyme? Check out this dance-and-rhyme favorite, Giraffes Can't Dance!
